If Nintendo gave us another Dr Mario game this music would be a perfect fit, haha! Just where my mind immediately went to cause of the fast paced and chaotic nature, it's really cool albeit maybe a tad long. Gotta give props cause I know so much goes into the fine details of something like this, I wouldn't even know where to begin lol. Great work and good luck in the NGADM!

I had to check this out when I saw your comment in the NGADM thread haha, man this is so so good! Great writing, riffage, orchestral elements, mix - that key change at 2:32 was a very nice touch. Awesome work!

Damn this is good! The choir and atmospheric elements on this are really nice. That 1:40 section though is SUPER dope and unique with the way you did the pitch shifted notes on guitar.

Mix sounds great too from what I can tell listening through my iMac speakers, will have to re-listen on my home monitors later. I think my one and only gripe is some of the chugs like at 1:22 and 2:55 sound artificial - perhaps from the bass guitar, is it a VST?

Thanks doood! It's all vst, all guitars. But I've made some strides in programming to make much more realistic guitar sounds. I'm hoping to get my own guitar into my mix someday, in just not confident I end up heavily editing my di, and then it's a waste and sounds vst anyway. I'm not a guitar player, at least proficiently 😭

Dope track! I know transitioning to a different BPM can be tricky to pull off well without it sounding abrupt, but you nailed it in this song. That 2:10 part is probably my favorite bit actually, doesn't sound as bad as you say in my opinion! I also dig that 1:20 section with the violin over the riffs. I think more of that violin sprinkled in throughout would be cool to hear. Great work man!

This is dope! Great sound mix and tones. Dig the chord progressions and riffs. The change to synths at 3:10 and then the dry DI guitars, as is feels out of place or doesn't mesh well with the rest of the song, but I think adding a pad layer and maybe 1 more synth with some reverb or something would do wonders to make it sound more full. And then a nice clean tone on that DI guitar bit, wonder how that would sound. STILL, Great work man!

Thanks dude! That area of the track definitely sounds weird, I had originally transitioned into DnB but it just sounded weird and off. So what's left is kind of a crossfade remnant of my aborted idea, totally agree it isn't great right there but I'm glad you enjoyed the rest of it!

Not sure I'd classify as dubstep BUT it's good and I'm digging the 1:55 switch to that drum n bass style beat, good work!
